This panoramic photograph of New York was taken by James Blakeway.It features a twilight view looking across the Hudson River at the western side of Manhattan.At the far right is the Verrazano Bridge connecting Brooklyn and Staten Island.Centered in the photograph is the world famous Empire State Building.Built in 1930, the 102-story building was, for many years, the world’s tallest building.The tallest buildings at the far right are the World Trade Center.The Chrysler Building is the brightly lit building with the pointed roof located left of the Empire State Building.
